The move of God we experienced in our worship service Sunday, June 6, 2010 revealed to me the many issues, pains, fears, problems, …we as a body of believers face on a regular basis. However, we serve an AWESOME GOD and I truly believe that many experienced a breakthrough, deliverance, restoration and healing. I would like you to use this blog to share how GOD is moving in your life in the midst of a storm, how you overcame adversity in your life, if you would like to request your church family to pray for and with you or if you just want to say “Thank You LORD!”
6 June 2010 if you missed our service or rather our praise session at BOCC you missed God moving all thru the sanctuary. I am so blessed to have a pastor that cares about his congregation and not the norm of just getting out of church at a certain time. I truly felt the blessings and am truly blessed to be apart of the BOCC family. I am truly growing everyday stronger and stronger in my belief of what God has in store for me. GOD IS AWESOME!!!!!
We had an awesome time during our Sunday church service and you could truly feel the presence of the Lord! We are very blessed to have a pastor who is willing to take the time to pray for each individual and/or each family, including myself! Also, it is joyous to have a congregation who genuinely care and love each other. Thank you Pastor and First Lady Davita Stewart for all of your love and support. In addition, I would like to give thanks to God and my BOCC family for allowing the spirit of the Lord to work through all of you. Sheila Woods
Praise God for BOCC… Last night Womens Bible Study was AWESOME! The discussion lead to a hour of conversation after class that was encouraging, challenging and uplifting. I praise God for all of you… You inspire me to be better, do better and lead better.
And what can I say about Sunday’s “DELIVERENCE” Service? It was such a POWERFUL service! Priase God for the Move of the Holy Spirit. The BEST is Yet to come… We are HIGHLY FAVORED BOCC Family!
The more you give the more He gives to you… Just keep on giving because its really true…..You cant beat God’s giving. This is often thought of as a reference to an offering but I find that if you apply it to everything …. Praise …..Worship….Prayer…study time God will continue to bless you and the praise at BOCC has certainly loosed God in our sanctuary …God inhabits the praises of His people.In His presence there is Joy Peace Healing and deliverance. BOCC family let yourself loose it only gets better!!!!!! Love all of you
I believe that the Lord is at work in the Body of Christ Church. Our congregation is growing physically and spiritually. It was indeed a wonderful thing to witness the number of people receiving individual prayers. Personally, I have taken Pastor’s prayer over my life as a directive and confirmation for the issues that I have been struggling with. I thank God for this church, Pastor Stewart and his family, and each of you!!
JESUS take the wheel… Pastor D & Lady D, yal just keep on keeping on urry Sunday!! If you told me a year ago, I’d be involved and would love a church so much, I’d say you must be dreaming. I can not believe how much of a difference BOCC has made in my life, the quality of my life, those in my life, and GOD in my life. BOCC also stands for “Bringing Others Closer to Christ…” I never thought a small church could mean so much to me… true it’s much like a family (love, joy, & pain) but it has truly made me closer to GOD… I now have more people in my life that I SEE GOD in and it is drawing me nearer to him everyday… Pastor, you’re emotion and keep-it-real ministry is what makes this church honest and full of love – heart felt. Lady D.. you’re mime yesterday showed me a different side of you that is still with me… girl friend… you shook the ground and took us to higher ground…okay i’m at work and supposed to be working…so…JESUS take the wheel… luvmesumyal!!!
Pastor that was an awesome Word on Sunday. It was a Word that all could relate to from young to old. God is truly using you. The church is growing because of your Spirit. I must say it’s contagious. God has blessed you and your family with a spiritual family of 150+ people related by the Word of God united by your spirit.
Another Great Day in Lord. Awesome Awesome Word. Pastor thanks for allowing God to use you so mightily. It was a sermon I very much needed. Count it all joy. No matter what I go through, I will for sure count it all joy. Praise the Lord.
The above comments are the testimonies of the Spirit of Christ! The Holy Spirit reigned supreme with an outpouring that still has me basking in the memories of that Sunday morning. As Pastor was laying hands and ministering to each individual that wanted prayer. I was praying for him. I also had thoughts of getting prayed for myself because @ that time I was in intense prayer for peace for my family. But as the people continued to come, and the Holy Spirit continued to bless, I heard this familiar childlike voice that so gently and softly sang… OPEN THE FLOOD GATES OF HEAVEN, LET IT RAIN, LET RAIN. I looked upfront and it was my son! Zion with his head lend on his Dad’s shoulder, mic in hand singing praises as the people received from GOD. At that time I knew that my household (family) was released from any attack that would try to destroy God’s purpose for Mick, Zyair, Zion and I. So I worshipped with full confidence that no weapon formed agained my family shall prosper.
Okay – i should be working… this past Sunday’s sermon … off the chain… this past Sunday’s Women’s prayer… all chained up! We have a First Lady who knows how to lead us each and every Sunday! THANK YOU GOD for putting her there in the front of that circle…leading us each SUNDAY… that IS her place and that IS what I have longed for and that IS what YOU have done… THANK YOU GOD!!!…We were so thankful for so many things… and while I did acknowledge the heaviness of leading a church and being in you guys’ shoes… I should have said it LOUDLY….THANK YOU DAVITA for leading the Women’s prayer circle…. when our hands are bound… you can feel us triumph in that room… luvmesumyawwwwl…
